Campbell Helicopters - Training 2020
Training
Technical Training Workbooks
Technical training will consist of a Bell 212 home study workbook which will provide a guided approach to reviewing the appropriate reference material. These workbooks are to be completed annually by all pilots and retained on file. For those pilots undergoing initial and/or endorsement training these workbooks will be augmented by type-specific classroom training as well.
Open Book Exams
All completed exams and workbooks will be retained in the Pilot File.
Dangerous Goods Training
All of our pilots require Transport of Dangerous Goods training - we cannot accept the training you may have received from another operator. Campbell Helicopters uses the John French Consultants Ltd "Dangerous Goods Training Manual for Operators of Rotorcraft" which utilizes an online programme to confirm knowledge. Dangerous Goods training is valid for 24 months.

Pilot Decision Making
Additionally, every Campbell Helicopters' pilot must attend a Transport Canada "Pilot Decision Making" course every three years. This course is conducted in-house and there is no exam.
